My Hero Husband: From Bachelor, to Father and Wife Spoiler
It set me to wondering about all the changes, the crazy world of women he transported into, and what that has done to his everyday routine. I marveled a bit at it all.
He’s up at 6:05 am on school days, and off to the kitchen, where he begins preheating the oven and setting out breakfast. He looks through backpacks and refills water bottles and snacks. He then brings me coffee after my 6:20 am roll out of bed.
For most of his adult life it was only he and two cats. I remember he ate Starbucks for breakfast, fast food for lunch, and two flour tortillas for dinner…plain, no filling.
Now his world is rarely still. No watching sci-fi on the weekends. He cooks, he cleans, he owns companies, but his cosmos is his family. No more cats, just two lovely, huge, rescued, white dogs, and two precious, blossoming “tween” girls, and a mess of a wife.
Yet, his joy is having us all. Loving us all. Spoiling us and hugging us and leading us in prayer, love, life, and serving others. He’s my hero. Truly. I get to live life with him and watch his hero ways.
Did I mention I love him?
